Child accounts need a parent
A user under 13 may use Stonepile (formerly STAK) only after a parent or legal guardian completes privacy consent and, separately, accepts these Terms. The child’s taps do not accept the Terms for the family.
This is not the privacy consent
COPPA consent (the children’s privacy addendum) covers data practices. It does not create a contract. This page is your own adult acceptance of Stonepile’s Terms, including the dispute-resolution terms that apply to adult users, in your capacity as parent or guardian with authority to do so. The children’s privacy addendum is at stonepile.com/privacy-children.
What we record
We record your legal name, the linked child account, Terms version v1.3-coppa-draft, the date, and the same confirmatory method as privacy consent. Architecture / TestFlight UAT: in_app_delayed_code. Intended live method before real children’s accounts: email one-time code to your sign-in email (email_otp_confirm).
Where the full adult Terms live
The published 13+ Terms remain at stonepile.com/terms. This page is the parent-as-guardian text that matches the version string shown in the app (v1.3-coppa-draft).
Your authority
By continuing in the app you represent that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian and that you have authority to accept these Terms for this account. Support: admin@stonepile.com.
